Molana Tariq Jamil officially opened Lanarkshire Mosque on Fri 13th June 2008, Before Jumma Prayer. He then did his first Bayan at Lanarkshire Mosque before moving around the country.

Maulana Tariq Jamil is a well known Islamic Scholar from Pakistan. Maulana Tariq Jamil devoted his life to the propogation of Islam.

Lanarkshire Mosque are need of all types of volunteers to help out daily activities of the mosque.

If your qualified or not We need everyone from Doctors, Accountants, I.T, to cleaners, teachers etc.

If you can spare a few hours a week to help the local Muslim Population your help will be appreciated.

To help with advice on all subjects from a to z. Citizen advice bureau have agreed to do clinics at the mosque on thursdays (especially for females)  and fridays (for men). Subjects such as debt, council tax, tax credit, any benefits and much much more.
